UBG - United Beauty Group Product Review (not sponsored)
3:45 AMHey Guys! ♥
Long time no see. I'm sorry, I've been absent, but I was extremely sick. I had the flu and had/ still have tonsillitis. Do you KNOW how horrible it was? I was in bed all day long for four days and couldn't get up. Heck, I couldn't talk or move my eyes either. Living life was just not possible. It's been a week now, and I think I'm starting to get better. I'm still sick though, don't get me wrong. I still have tonsillitis and a deadly cough. I may have to get my tonsils removed, which just doesn't go in my time schedule. I have so many exams goddammit. And I have to study for my finals. And I have to start applying for... what is it called in English? Schooling? (Edit: I use the apprenticeship now lol) You know, when they train you for the job. That's what I mean. I just don't have time for any surgeries, ya feel me?
Oh, and on my first day back to school, I wrote a history exam. LOVELY. Went okay though, I'm not complaining much.
Anyway, today I have a product review for you guys. I found this website called UBG (United-Beauty-Group) while I was actually searching for Korean cosmetics. I mean the products aren't Korean and I don't know why that website popped up, but I ordered a few of their products and I'm gonna talk about them. If you'd like to shop around or look for yourself --> http://ubg1.com/index/index/recomm_id/107292
Yup. So, let's get going.
The first product I bought was the UGB-Perfect Lips Lip Filler. The packaging is pretty neat, nothing too special about it, but it doesn't look or feel cheap at all either. It doesn't smell like anything and when you apply it, it goes on smoothly, yet (I don't know, if that's always like this) when I first applied it, I had the feeling, that it was very.. dry? Don't really know how to explain it, but it's nothing major anyway. The product itself is obviously not dry at all, it's just a normal lip gloss to me.It doesn't tingle or have a minty smell, like many lip fillers do. You have to apply it in the morning and in the evening and, if you want, also throughout the day.
I noticed when I woke up the next day ( cause I usually apply the lip filler before I go to sleep), that my lips were very moisturized. Usually my lips are chapped and dry and gross (lol) but the morning after they looked great. I also noticed, that my lips (especially the lower lip) are plumper, which is super nice c: . The only downside that I personally see as a student is that the product is expensive. I bought it, when it was on sale for 9,99€ which would be ~11$. Normally it costs 69,90€ which would be ~78$. I don't really know though, cause they seem to always be on sale? Last time I checked it said it's only on sale for like 4 more days but now almost a month later it says the same. So no worries, I'd say. Also there are 6ml in this.
The next thing I bought was the UBG-Natural Cosmetics (Organic&Vegan) Face Fluid, which contains 15ml and they say, that it'll last for 4-6 weeks. It has green tea extract, which stimulates the blood circulation, lavender oil, which is anti-septic, anti fungal and stress reducing, aloe vera, which regenerates and moisturizes the skin, almond oil and cucumber extract, which have an anti-oxidant effect on the skin, grapefruit seed extract, which increases the elasticity and firmness of the skin, gluten-free vitamin E, which repairs, regenerates and revitalizes the skin and also it reduces wrinkled and lines on your skin. You apply 3-4 drops, depending on your face-size, in the morning and evening, after you wash your face. For me 3 drops are more than enough, I also apply it on my neck. You massage it into your skin. There is no smell to it, but I have to say that if you smell your fingers afterwards it... doesn't smell toooo good. Nothing major at all, when you apply it, you can't even smell anything. I can definitely say, that this is a great moisturizer and that it helps with the blackheads (maybe I have to thank my make up wipes for that though lol I don't really know), but I can't say more. I didn't see an improvement in my "wrinkles" (I mean, I'm pretty young, I don't really have wrinkles, just one on my forehead that bugs me), but I guess you'd have to use it for a long time to see that. My make up always looks a lot better when I apply this, but that's because I never apply moisturizer. I know, I know, that's really bad, but I'm... just simply too lazy and haven't found a good moisturizer yet. I guess, I'll use this Face Fluid. And it's organic and vegan, I mean what more could you ask for :)
Now, the downside is, that this is very expensive. And I'm gonna say this about all of their products. I bought it when it was on sale, like the Lip Filler and all the other products. I bought it for 14,99€ which would be ~17$. Normally it would cost 94,90€ which would be ~106$.
THEN, the last thing I bought was the UBG-E (Ultimate Eye) Eye Gel. It contains 10ml, which they say would last for about 4-6 weeks. It promises to reduce dark circles, bags and swelling, unsightly lines and discoloured skin, to fill and markedly reduce the depth of wrinkles, to increase the elasticity and resilience of the areas of skin around the eyes, to initiate the growth of collagen in the matrix of the skin and to be very gentle and be tolerated even by sensitive skin. Okay. So, I have to say, that I don't really like this. Again, you probably have to use it for a long time but... I didn't see ANY difference. In anything. Not my dark circles or my wrinkles or anything. It just doesn't do anything. The only good thing about it is, that it is cooling. That's it. And COME ON are you kidding me with the packaging and price? The "lid" on top of it doesn't even cover the pump opening, so the germs and bacteria can just get in so easily and then you rub that on your eyes? Fuck no. There's a lid, yes, but there is an opening in the lid JUST for the pump hole thing where the product comes out. Who came up with that? I'm glad I bought it, when it was on sale for 14,99€ which would be ~ 17$, cause there is no way in fuck I would pay the original 94,90€. That would be 106$. No way, even if it was the best product ever. It's just way too tiny and definitely NOT worth the money, guys.
OMG, I just accidentally clicked on my Facebook bookmark and I thought I lost everything I just wrote. I would've killed myself. Okay, let's not be overdramatic, but thank god Wordpress saved it automatically, I LOVE YOU.
This was my little review, if you'd like to search the store for yourself, just click on the link in the beginning of my post, I promise they have a lot of interesting stuff on their website, that's definitely worth checking out! :)
This was not sponsored at all and it's all my personal, honest opinion.
Hmm, what else to write? I don't really have anything to say actually. I could whine about my tonsils, but I don't wanna be negative on here again haha.
If you're bored and would like to read more of what I wrote you can check out my previous post or my --> Cheaper Alternative to the Glam Glow Mask.
Next time I'll post some useful tips again so stay tuned and tell me, if you like reviews or nah?
Bye!♥
