Cheaper alternative to Glam Glow?!
1:58 AMHey Guys!
I'm sure a lot of you have already heard of the famous Glam Glow face mask. I've only heard good things about it but as a student I just cannot afford it :c So I'll have to get creative and find something cheaper. And I DID find a way. It probably doesn't work as well as the Glam Glow but it still is super awesome and my favourite mask!
So what you'll need:
-Clay (That powder thingi you can buy over amazon. It's green.)
-Tea tree oil
-Water or even better Green Tea (You can also use Rosewater but I don't feel like it's doing anything tbh)
And that is basically it... but STOP. Those three ingredients are (to me) the most important ones and the ones I always put in. At least those three. You can put anything in there though. Like fish oil or Vitamin E oil or anything that helps your skin.
I put zinc in there as well because i have a few pills left (they are good for your hair and skin). And Rosewater because I heard it is suppossed to be good but honestly I didn't notice any difference, I'm just trying to use it up.
So, after you have your ingredients ready, you put about 1/2 tbs of the clay in a bowl.
Then you start adding your dry ingredients (whatever you wanna use). For me it'll be my zinc. Then I make sure there are no clumps.
Then start adding your tea tree oil and green tea and all the other wet ingredients that you wanna use.
Mix it all up (IMPORTANT: Do NOT mix your clay with a metal tablespoon. You can pour it into the bowl with it but never ever use a metal tablespoon while you're mixing your wet and dry ingredients! The metal has a chemical reaction with the clay and the wetness that is not good for your skin. To mix it all up I just use my brush.) and start applying. You don't have to put it on your whole face if you don't want to. I like to do that just to relax and do good to my skin.
Wait for about 10-20 minutes.
If you have DRY SKIN: Don't let the mask dry on your face. If it dries, it'll suck out all the oil in your pores, so keep spraying water on your face while you are waiting.
If you have NORMAL SKIN: Don't let the mask dry either.
If you have COMBINATION SKIN: You should only let it dry on the parts of your face where you usually get oily (T-Zone). Keep spraying water on the parts where you are usually dry.
If you have OILY SKIN: You should let it dry completely. Don't spray your face with water.
After the time is up, wash it all of and dab your skin dry. Apply your toner and moisturiser (I like to apply tea tree oil on my pimples again, I'm so in love with it).

And now your skin is clean and fresh!♥
What the clay does is it sucks out the oil and the dirt in your pores, so you will feel refreshed and have clean pores after.
The tea tree oil helps to keep down your acne and it helps to make your pimples aka. face demons go away.
The green tea helps to moisturise your skin. It also helps to keep down your acne, make your face demons go away AND it helps your acne scars fade away. I heard you can even use it as a toner but I'm not sure.
And there you guys go! A cheaper Glam Glow!
Oh and btw I DID solve the issue with my widgets. It just suddenly worked again I don't know. Can't make up it's mind =__=
If you have any suggestions please tell me!
See ya!♥
